Tim Duncan #GOAT

This guy was like an awesome ‪#‎realestate‬ ‪#‎investment‬. Paid dividends quickly. Hold onto him for life. Thought you'd play forever.‪#‎thebigfundamental‬ ‪#‎timmy‬ you probably won't see another guy play for the same coach for his whole 19 year career. There would be more like him if kids stayed for 4 years of college. Will miss watching his ‪#‎brand‬ of basketball.

OC Housing Market

http://m.homesnap.com/news/2016-07-01/article/orange-county-real-estate-market-sees-price-cuts-high/562

Do you think there is a #OChousingbubble? I think a majority of people think there is mainly because they can't afford a #home especially here in #OrangeCounty. Some people think we are in a worse situation than 2008. The #truth is that prices have gone higher in certain areas due to the federal reserve pumping even more money into the system.  Statistics show that there are 6900 homes on the market here in OC. Just in the last few weeks we have gone from 6000 to 6900 homes on the market. Quite an alarming statistic if you are following the market and hunting for a bargain for the most precious asset you will #invest in your whole life. In 2007 we had 8000 homes and in 2008 we had 11,000 homes on the market. Should I keep going? I’ll let you decide, but we are heading towards a peak. Be Prepared. For buyers, the good news is that interest rates are at historic lows so the money you borrow is almost #FREE. No reason to sit on the sidelines since any decline will be met with higher interest rates. Attention for all #Sellers, if you have home equity up to $500k, it might be a good time to cash out tax free in the next 12 months. Contact me now if you’re interested.

Our Dog Captain

Captain is my first dog and we didn't get off to a great start. I was trying to date to Vanessa and he was an ex-guard dog in the Coast Guard. He has a ferocious bark for Labrador and I was thinking this is just my luck with the friendliest breed there is.

Some of you know,I was bitten by a black Lab when I was 10 years old for probably antagonizing it and I have never felt a connection with dogs. However, 3 years ago, that all changed when we moved to the dog friendly community of Laguna Niguel. There were social dogs everywhere and being around dogs all the time allowed me to trust them again. Captain and I even have met a friendly wolf while taking a stroll in Monarch Beach.

Captain and I both love the beach. He is truly in his element when we go down to Tablerock in Laguna Beach this time of year. Normally, he's more social with humans, but when we go down there, he is friendly with all the dogs. He tries to rescue me when I'm in the water even though I'm treading water just fine. Sometimes, he even tries to rescue people that look like me.

This guy is the most special dog. He loves us unconditionally daily. He has taught me so much about life and his never give up attitude has been a blessing on our family.

Electrical Contractors

Friday night, Vanessa and I went to our second Electronic Dance Music Concert and saw @Kaskade. It was quite a show. If you went to Coachella this year, he used the same splendid stage. When you go see this guy, I’d recommend seeing them in the liveliness of Las Vegas.
I was first introduced to EDM by my friend Derrick Laughlin in 2001 when he played Sandstorm by Darude and have been hooked ever since. Derrick is the ‪#‎GadberryGroup‬’s chosen licensed Electrical Contractor.www.kdelectric.com
His company name is KD Electric. Derrick and Ken are reliable, give great value, and always surpass expectations on a job. They have an emergency service and are always quick to respond.
We hired them to put in 6 canned lights, two ceiling fans, and GFI’s in our kitchen. They were efficient and didn’t waste anyone’s time. We appreciate that. Thank you KD Electric for creating the after photo!

My Neighborhood

Vanessa and I love our little neighborhood in Dana Point. It truly is paradise. We are very spoiled to live in such a beautiful place. We just got back from our mini honeymoon in Catalina Island and let me just say I'm glad to be home. Thank you all for the kind notes. I'll definitely be looking forward to our honeymoon in Costa Rica this December, but for now it’s back to work.

Before I owned a home, I always wondered why people who owned sometimes would complain about the values going up so high. Well, now I had the same feeling when you think to yourself, I would never pay $350,000 for 680 square feet and I would barely be able to afford that if I had to make the payments on a traditional mortgage. I will keep you posted and we will see if the appraisal gets approved. Most of the sales and listings are in the $280-$290k range.

Now that Vanessa and I are happily married, we want to find a 2/3 bedroom and we are starting to get priced out in our market. With Interest Rates staying low, it will bring more buyers out with less inventory. The good news is that rent prices keep going up as well as home values and the economy is in good shape. We can count on that to be the case until the next President is elected.

Sincerely,

Tristen Gadberry
